Housing Requirements

• Terrarium Size: Minimum 18″ × 18″ × 24″ for a group of 4–5 adults. -Water-to-Land Ratio: 50/50 up to 75/25 water-to-land area.
• Temperature: 72–77 °F (22–26 °C) during the day, dropping to 68–72 °F (17–22 °C) at night.
• Humidity: Maintain 90–100% relative humidity with daily misting.
• Lighting: LED lighting recommended, 12-hour day/night cycle

Substrate & Environment

• Incorporate live plants, driftwood, and cork bark for climbing and cover.
• Provide a large, filtered water area (minimum several inches deep) for swimming and breeding activity.
• Add floating cork bark or logs to serve as resting platforms and calling sites.
• Ensure excellent ventilation to prevent mold and stagnation

Diet & Feeding

• Feed pinhead crickets, small roaches depending on size. Do not feed prey larger than the space between the cinnamon frog's eyes.
• Dust all prey with calcium at every feeding.
• Feed 4–5 times weekly in small quantities;

Breeding

• Maturity: Reached around 10–16 months.
• Breeding may occur after heavy misting or simulated rainy conditions.
• Eggs are often deposited above water on plant leaves or tank glass.
• Tadpoles can be reared communally in clean, shallow water; perform regular partial water changes.

Special Notes

• Extremely sensitive to chemical residues — use only RO or dechlorinated water
• Require consistent warmth and humidity; temperature dips or drafts can cause rapid decline.
• Handle only when absolutely necessary; their delicate skin is easily damaged.
• Quarantine new arrivals for 30+ days before introducing them to established enclosures.
